Televo App – Installation Guide
Everything you need to get Televo running on your device: which apps work, where to find your login details, how to load the guide, and what to do when something does not work.
What is the Televo app?
“Televo app” refers to the application you use on your device to watch your Televo subscription. Televo is a subscription service rather than a single piece of software, which matters more than it sounds: your subscription works through any standards-compliant IPTV player, because we supply both an M3U playlist and Xtream Codes API credentials.
In practice that means you are never locked to one app. If a player stops being maintained, or you simply prefer a different interface, you move your login across and carry on.

Installation
The route depends on your device, but it is always one of three:
- From the device's own store. Search for the player by name and install it. This is the case for most Android TV, iOS and Smart TV players.
- Sideloading on Fire TV. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources, install the Downloader app, and enter the address supplied to you. Our Firestick installation guide walks through every screen.
- Nothing to install. On a desktop you can test your login directly in VLC by opening the playlist URL.
Configuration and login
When you subscribe, you receive an email containing your access details. There are two formats and your app will ask for one or the other.
Xtream Codes (preferred)
Enter the server URL, your username and your password. The app then pulls the channel list, the guide and the on-demand library automatically. This is the better option wherever the app supports it.
M3U playlist
Paste the full playlist URL exactly as supplied. It is long, so avoid typing it on a TV remote — use the Fire TV mobile app keyboard, or email the link to yourself.
Your credentials are personal. Sharing them outside your household breaches the terms of service and, because plans include a fixed number of simultaneous connections, it is also the most common reason streams suddenly stop working.
Setting up the EPG
The electronic programme guide loads separately from the channel list and can take several minutes on first run. If it is still empty afterwards, add the EPG URL manually in the app's settings, then force a refresh.
If the guide shows the wrong times, check the app's timezone setting rather than assuming the data is wrong — that is the cause in most cases.

Common problems
App will not install
Almost always storage. Clear caches or uninstall unused apps, then retry.
Login rejected
Check for a trailing space in the pasted username, confirm the port number in the server URL, and confirm the subscription is active.
Channels list but will not play
Your login is fine, so the issue is the connection or the connection limit. Try another channel first, then check nobody else is watching on the same credentials.
Buffering or freezing

Security and safe downloads
Only install an application from your device's official store, from the developer's own site, or from a link Televo has sent you directly. Sideloading an APK found on a forum is the most common way streaming devices pick up adware.
Televo will never ask for your password by message, and never asks for card details over WhatsApp. If you receive a request like that, it did not come from us.

FAQ
Do I have to use a specific app?
No. Televo supplies both an M3U playlist and Xtream Codes credentials, so any standards-compliant IPTV player works. You can change app at any time without changing subscription.
How long does setup take?
Around five minutes on most devices, plus a few minutes for the guide to populate the first time. Our team will walk you through it on WhatsApp if you would rather not do it alone.
Can I use it on more than one device?
You can install the app on as many devices as you like. What is limited is how many can stream at the same time, which depends on your plan. Additional connections can be added from your account.
Does it work outside the UK?
Yes, the service carries international channels alongside UK ones. Streaming quality depends on your connection wherever you are.
